In-Office · Less-Invasive Procedures

Advanced procedures, in the office,
not the operating room.

Many diagnoses, small procedures, and even bone-preserving knee procedures can be done awake, in the office, with less downtime, no hospital, and one transparent price.

Our office surgery program opens December 2026. Every price is published now and the list is open. No payment is taken to join the list.

In-Office Needle Arthroscopy

See inside the joint, awake, in a single visit

Needle arthroscopy uses a camera about the width of a needle to look directly inside a joint under local anesthesia, right in the office. For the right problem, it can give a clearer, faster answer than waiting on an MRI, and it lets us handle small procedures in the same setting.
  • Direct diagnostic look at cartilage, meniscus, and soft tissue
  • Small procedures: biopsy, loose-body removal, minor debridement
  • Local anesthesia, awake, no hospital and no general anesthesia
  • Fast answers and minimal downtime, at one clear price

Office-Based Knee Preservation

The KneeBar for subchondral insufficiency fractures

Sudden, deep, aching knee pain in an active adult is not always a meniscus tear. Often it is a subchondral insufficiency fracture, a stress fracture in the bone just under the cartilage that shows up as a bone marrow lesion on MRI. Left alone, it can progress toward joint collapse and, eventually, replacement.

The KneeBar is a percutaneous, fluoroscopy-guided procedure that places a metal-less, bio-integrative implant to support and offload that injured bone so it can heal. The implant is made from minerals your bone is built from and is gradually replaced by your own bone over time, per the manufacturer.

  • Targets the true pain source: the subchondral bone, not just the cartilage
  • Percutaneous and bone-preserving, metal-less fixation
  • May help relieve pain and delay or avoid a knee replacement
  • Often paired with biologics (BMAC or PRP) in the same plan

Three stages of bio-integration: fixation, healing, and a fully healed implant replaced by the patient's own bone
How a metal-less, bio-integrative implant works: it holds from day one, then is gradually replaced by your own bone, leaving only natural tissue behind. OSSIOfiber® manufacturer illustration.

Honest expectations: the KneeBar does not cure arthritis and does not regrow cartilage. It is one tool for the right patient, and candidacy is determined by your MRI and exam. Learn more about our the KneeBar procedure and regenerative options.

Questions

In-office procedures, answered.

Yes. In-office needle arthroscopy is performed under local anesthesia. You are awake, the joint is numbed, and most people drive themselves home and return to light activity quickly.
