Real time with a double board-certified surgeon, in person at our Fort Mill clinic, by video, or at your door through the JOI Mobile Medical Unit. X-rays, diagnostic ultrasound, and MRI/CT ordering and coordination are all included at no charge when clinically indicated during an in-person visit.

StemWave Shockwave Therapy
Non-invasive shockwave for stubborn tendon, joint, and soft-tissue pain. Many patients feel a difference after the first mapping session.

Orthopaedic Laser
Class IV laser (photobiomodulation) for stubborn soft-tissue and joint pain, including conditions shockwave does not reach. Sessions take about five to ten minutes with no downtime, at one flat per-session rate for each region treated.
Acute Injury Package
$70 a session. About three sessions a week for two weeks.
Chronic Pain Package
$70 a session over four to six weeks. Two regions $1,260, three $1,560, four $1,860.
Post-Surgical Package
Laser wrapped around your surgical recovery. Two regions $900, three $1,140, four $1,320.
Continuation of Care
Extended course after a completed package.
StemWave + Laser Combo
Both therapies in one session. Two regions $500, three $670, four $820. A 10-visit combo package is $2,000, or $3,350 / $4,550 / $5,600 for 2, 3, or 4 regions.
1-Year Maintenance

About these two devices
Class IV laser therapy is FDA-cleared (K051922, K111901) for temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain and stiffness, and temporary increase in local blood circulation. StemWave is a Class I, 510(k)-exempt therapeutic massager registered with the FDA for temporary relief of minor muscle and joint aches and pains; registration is not FDA clearance, approval, or endorsement. Neither is a cure, and individual results vary.
Orthopaedic Laser needs no separate mapping visit. Your assessment is folded into the first session. Prices are per region treated. Cash only. Not covered by any insurance, so there is no claim to file and nothing arrives afterwards. The price you see is the entire transaction.

Surgery Bundles (Partner Center)

Ways to pay
Financing options are available. Our own plan is a deposit at booking plus three equal monthly payments, with zero interest and zero fees. Any amount is based on the JOI price you were quoted, never on a billed charge and never on what an insurer might later pay. Ask us for details when you book.
Implants and grafts, bracing, and DME are quoted separately, in writing. These procedures are performed at a trusted partner surgery center.
Mobile & After-Hours Care
Mobile Medical Unit visits carry a modest premium over clinic pricing ($500 new patient, $400 established), plus a travel fee quoted before scheduling. Evening and weekend availability carries a small surcharge.

If you have out-of-network benefits, we will file for you.
For visits, therapy, injections, and surgery we give you an itemized superbill and can file the out-of-network claim on your behalf. Anything your plan pays goes directly to you, and a processed claim can count toward your out-of-network deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. We never promise a reimbursement: the decision, and the number, belong to your plan.
Before you book
Check whether your plan has out-of-network benefits. It takes a minute, and it tells you whether a claim is worth filing at all. If it is, we give you an itemized superbill and can file the claim on your behalf.
You pay the posted price at the time of service whether or not your plan reimburses you, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. Any payment goes to you, directly from your insurer. Plans with no out-of-network benefits, which includes many HMO and EPO plans, credit nothing.
