Journey Orthopaedic Institute ("JOI," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This website (https://jo.institute) is an information and contact tool. It is not a patient portal and it is not used to collect or store protected health information (PHI).

This site does not ask for, and you should not submit, detailed medical history or sensitive health records through it. The only information we collect is what you choose to provide so we can respond to you:
- Contact and callback requests. If you use our lead or callback form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and any short message you include so a member of our team can follow up.
- Communications you initiate. If you call, text, or email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you and keep an accurate record of your request.
- Basic technical and analytics data. Like most websites, we may collect anonymized usage information (pages visited, device and browser type, general location) to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not use this to identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to respond to your request, schedule or discuss care, improve this website, and keep our own records. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How we handle lead form data
Information submitted through our forms is transmitted securely and routed to our team so we can contact you. We keep it only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain reasonable business records, then we dispose of it.

We use trusted vendors to operate this site and our practice (for example, hosting, scheduling, and analytics providers). They may process limited information on our behalf and are expected to protect it. Where we engage vendors who may touch protected health information in our clinical operations, we work under appropriate agreements.
Your choices
You can decline to submit any information and still browse the site. You can ask us to update or delete the contact information you provided by emailing Schedule@jo.institute.
Clinical privacy
Privacy practices for your actual care and medical records are governed separately by the notices and agreements you receive as a patient. This website policy does not replace those.
